Getting started
AARCV turns a tanker boom-camera recording into a scored, sanitized debrief. This page gets you from sign-in to your first debrief in about five minutes.
Open the address your administrator gave you (for the local demo, http://localhost:8000). Your browser asks for a user name and password. The demo ships with these accounts, all with password demo:
| User | Role | Use it to |
|---|---|---|
admin | Administrator | See everything, manage users and configuration |
instructor | Instructor | Upload sorties, review scores, redact video |
pilot | Viewer | Read debriefs and trends |
secoff | Security officer | Edit the classification policy and release products |
Some demo installs run with sign-in turned off, in which case every visitor is an administrator. Never run a real install that way.
Find your way around#
The sidebar is grouped the same way for everyone; items you do not have permission for are hidden.
- Debrief: sorties, the fleet envelope, training plans, instructor agreement, proficiency records and simulator export.
- Fleet scale: sites, the learning loop, the edge unit, component health, receiver onboarding, the autonomy referee, the video sanitizer and coalition release.
- Operations: overview, AI models, monitoring, aircrew, fleet and cameras, maintenance, mishap and damage, and security.
- Administration: users, system configuration and the audit log.
Press Ctrl K anywhere to jump to a page by name. The moon icon switches between light and dark themes. The colored bar at the top and bottom of every page is the classification marking of what the page shows.
Open your first debrief#
- Go to Debrief → Sorties. Each row shows the pilot, date, status, overall score and grade.
- Click a completed sortie. The debrief opens with the score, the video, the 3D replay, the timeline and the events.
- Click any event to jump the video and the 3D view to that moment.
Next: read a debrief, or upload a sortie of your own.
